In these seasonal times of gratitude “Here Comes That Rainbow Again” sets the tone for giving and receiving kindness. This book is an illustrated parable written by Kris Kristofferson offering a beautiful ray of hope during trying times. It is set during The Great Depression and is a metaphor for all the good that lives in humans and nature. The book is downloadable for a nominal fee. The stage version of John Steinbeck’s classic ‘Grapes of Wrath’ is running through April 29th at Venice Theatre in Venice, FL. Venice Theatre is one of the largest and most active community theatres in the United States.

We are offering the book “Here Comes That Rainbow Again” for free through April 29th. The book uses song lyrics written by Kris Kristofferson which are based on a scene from “The Grapes of Wrath.” The book includes original artwork, sheet music, lesson plans and activities for all ages.

‘Grapes of Wrath’ brings a community together at Venice Theatre

It’s important for each student to feel inclusive in everything we teach. The lessons in “Here Comes That Rainbow Again” allow every student to shine in at least one of the activities. We would like to offer “Here Comes That Rainbow Again” free through April 15, celebrating spring and the renewal of life focusing on hope, compassion, empathy, inclusiveness, respect for individually and a positive outlook for the future.

After the active shooter drills in schools this week children need to switch gears from the negative to positive. In “Here Comes That Rainbow Again,” Kris Kristofferson sees the beauty in the world and the goodness in humanity and knows that good will win in the end.

The words of this song are among the most uplifting in the world at a time when they are especially important to hear.

The book with meticulously crafted lessons and standards aligned resources is free through February 2018.
